Program Dates

Our programs run at different points in the year and the internship period can range from 6 to 8 weeks in duration, part-time to full-time, depending on the program the student is participating in. Internship dates and number of hours per week are determined by the student’s university and program requirements.

Summer

  • Dates depend on the specific program

  • Generally 8-weeks between June/July/August (32 hours per week)

  • CIEE will reach out to you with one or more candidates in March/April.   

Fall

  • Late September until early November (6 weeks, 17-20 hours per week)

  • Early November until mid-December (6 weeks, 17-20 hours per week)

  • CIEE will reach out to you with a candidate in mid-August.

Spring

  • Mid-February until late March (6 weeks, 17-20 hours per week)

  • Late March until early May (6 weeks, 17-20 hours per week)

  • CIEE will reach out to you with a candidate in mid-December/early-January.
